Bernardo Hirsch, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, is a highly accomplished entrepreneur with a diverse portfolio of successful ventures. After completing his degree in Business Administration in Germany, he began his career with a German-Italian company, later managing F. Laeisz in Honduras, overseeing heavy equipment parts distribution and creating a dealership.
In 1971, Bernardo transformed a small operation into Comercial Laeisz Honduras (CLH), expanding years later its operations to El Salvador and Costa Rica. This venture led to the creation of a rental company for heavy equipment in 2007, expanding to Panama.
Beyond heavy equipment distribution, he entered the textile manufacturing industry in the late 1980s, establishing factories in Honduras and Guatemala.
In 1989, he took on the representation of Lufthansa and later added Japan Airlines to his airline representation business, maintaining it successfully for more than 15 consecutive years.
He became also co-founder of Honduras based bank Banco del Pais.
Active member of the Board of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tegucigalpa and in 1976 founding member of Rotary Club Tegucigalpa Sur.
Bernardo's interests extended to soccer, serving on the board of directors for the Honduran team Olimpia for 32 years.
In 1998, Bernardo entered the power generation sector, with CLH now generating approximately 110 megawatts for the Honduras government-owned utility company. He expanded into essential power distribution with the ownership and operation of substations since 2017.
He became also founder of a gas stations company which nowadays operates 7 facilities in Honduras, including convenience stores.
Bernardo's reach also extends to financial and home assistance services, co-founding in Honduras Grupo Especializado de Asistencia (GEA – www.geainternacional.com)) in 2000. The company provides specialty care services to local banks' credit card holders.
In 2002, he became a founding member of Torre Vita, a venture that led to the construction of Torre Sky, a 28-floor residential apartment building in Tegucigalpa, and served as the President of the Board.
Semi-retired in 2014, Bernardo joined Eleos Staffing Solutions in collaboration with Dr. David Pak. As a dedicated entrepreneur, he brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to the success of this new venture.
